I think it's safe to say I've taken quite a few pictures since my last journal entry! I need to set up more photoshoots with people, although honestly I definitely prefer spontaneous photography. Photoshoots are only good if you have a good model, but a spontaneous picture can look good and the subject doesn't have to even be trying. It's really like capturing a moment in time, while pictures that are set up and pre-thought aren't as fun. I like when someone looks nice in a picture and they aren't -trying- to look nice.

Although I REALLY like my recent photoshoot with Aubrey (). The lighting and the makeup and everything was such a good idea (mostly hers) and she's such a good model. Definitely inspired by the B&W pictures Tyra Banks took on America's Next Top Model.

For my next non-spontaneous photo I definitely want to include an environment. It's so hard because I don't really have any props or anything. Then again I've never really considered an environment before. Time to get brainstorming!
